50 for 50 House Renovation Project

Forty-Nine years ago, a group of young men were initiated into the ATὩ Fraternity at the University of North Alabama. They became the Theta Eta Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega. Those young men left a legacy which continues to this day as that chapter counts down to its 50th Anniversary January 24, 2024. Holy Cow – Fifty Years!

Over the next year, prepare to join us in celebrating this 50-year accomplishment with activities and programs sponsored by Alumni, the Chapter, and the University. Some activities in the works include Homecoming, Greek Open Houses, and a special celebration of our 50th Anniversary in January 2024.

Finally, the goal this year is to complete needed renovations at the house, to have a home we will be proud of for our 50th anniversary and beyond. It will be the “50 for 50 Campaign,” $50,000 raised for our 50th year. I plan for this to be my personal final fundraising campaign for renovations. I want the ATὩ House to be a premiere chapter house at UNA which can serve the chapter for the next 20-30 years. By then, you youngsters who are now in your 30’s and 40’s can take over and build that new house we’ve always wanted. The goal is to have everything done no later than January 2024 – our Chapter’s 50th Anniversary.
